Photography has always been more than images for me — it's a way to be truly in the present moment, to witness and capture movement, and to tell a story (your story) through intentional curation and planning.

I'm Barbee, a Vermont-based outdoor adventure and lifestyle photographer working nationwide with outdoor and wellness brands, and I'm here to translate your story into inspiring and engaging images.

My work is rooted in both adventure and calm — the power of the wind blowing through the trees on a trail run at sunrise, the flow of bikes on berms, the way gear is being used in action, the quiet reflection after an epic trail run. I create and curate imagery that captures both grit and grace, helping brands and individuals show up as their fullest selves without having to do the heavy lifting — leave that up to me.

Whether I'm documenting an athlete on the mountain, creating a full commercial production for a product brand, or on a lifestyle shoot, I focus on authenticity. Every frame is built to connect: with nature, with self, and with community. Each shoot is curated to fit your brand voice and campaign objective, keeping viewers engaged and wanting more.

Alongside client work, I mentor photographers who want to step into this industry with clarity and confidence. My approach blends technical skill with creative honesty, encouraging photographers to grow not just their craft but their voice.

When I'm not behind the lens, you'll find me outside — hiking in the Green Mountains, swimming in rivers, riding my bike, or finding new ways of being outside with my border collie Ranger by my side. Adventure fuels my creativity — I don't see it as "being adventurous," I just see it as living my life — and I bring that energy into every project.
